Wander the Catecombs of St. Callixtus, see the ancient Forum, and pray at many of the main basilicas of Rome. Render homage to St. Agnes when you visit the Piazza Navona, and gaze up at the dome of the Pantheon when you enter this ancient church. Then, on your way to the Amalfi Coast, visit the renowned archeological ruins of Pompeii, pray at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, and see the famous Abbey of St. Benedict at Montecasino. Stop in beautiful Salerno to venerate the relics of the Apostle St. Mathew and Pope St. Gregory VII and then take in the views of the Amalfi Coast while sailing on a ferry over to the Island of Amalfi to spend the night in the area. Head on towards Florence and overnight there after visiting some of the main sites of the city including the Duomo, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Convent and Museum of San Marco, and the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy two nights in Assisi, the beautiful mountain home of St. Francis and St. Clare, and then head back to Rome after stopping to visit the House of Our Lady in Loreto.
